Usually, it's enough to air out woollens regularly and only wash them when necessary with a mild wool detergent.
This garment is made, using only finest, untreated organic merino wool. Wool balances temperatures and absorbs up to a third of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp while letting the skin breathe. Sheep wool has a high lanolin content which is naturally antibacterial. Wool breathes, releasing its moisture out into the atmosphere.
Silk has been know as the best fabric to wear next to the skin. It is very smooth, so it's non-irritating, and it has insulation properties. It is also light weight and naturally antibacterial.

The result is a fabric made of 20 % silk, 35 % wool and 45 % organic cotton, manufactured after strict ecological guidelines. People with sensitive skin stand this all-season soft material-mixture very well.
Care instructions for Silk, Cotton & Wool
Cosilana's yarn of 45% cotton k.b.A., 35% wool k.b.A. and 20% silk. This products can be machine washed by max. 30C /86F using a gentle cycle such as a wool program, without spinning. Please do not use any detergent with bleaching or brightening effects.
